The Azerbaijani delegation met with the Prime Minister of Georgia

The Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia.

The meeting underlined that Georgia is interested in developing relations with friendly Azerbaijan, that the projects implemented with the participation of both countries contribute to the prosperity of our peoples and the development of the region as a whole and strengthen the strategic partnership. During the meeting, the sides noted the active cooperation of the two countries and the expansion of partnership relations in the energy and transport projects of global importance, such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, implemented at the initiative of Azerbaijan.

The sides discussed the development of Azerbaijan-Georgia relations in the field of economy, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
